Anchorage joins with hundreds of millions of people across the
planet to celebrate Earth Day 2004. Join us on Sunday, April 18,
for live music, food, kids activities, informative workshops and
interesting speakers and demonstrations to raise awareness of critical
environmental issues. The celebration runs from 12 to 4 pm on the
APU campus. Ride your bike or take People Mover to Earth Day this
year. This event is organized by Alaska Pacific University, Alaska
Center for the Environment, Alaska Conservation Alliance, Alaska
Oceans Program, Sierra Club and the Recycling Program at University
of Alaska Anchorage.
