premiere dances. Four celebrated choreographers have created new
works especially for the company. Marianela Boan of Havana Cuba
is internationally recognized for her innovative work as Artistic
Director of Danz Abierta. The Chicago Reader comments on Molly
Shanahan of Chicago's critically acclaimed Mad Shak Dance Company,
(like Bruce Lee on a delicate day.) The perennially favorite Brian
Jeffery, honored by ADN Arts Editor Susan Morgan with the "2002
All-Around Visionary Award". And a new talent to watch out
for, Katya Kuznetsova, UAA Dance Faculty and Student Director of
Dance Ensemble. Warning! Last year these performances sold out!
